HOW OUR MOUTHPIECES ARE MADE
Built by our master technician JianXing (also known as “JX”), each JX-Custom mouthpiece is a testament to his lifelong dedication to perfection. Starting from a solid stainless-steel blank, JianXing employs advanced lost-wax casting techniques to shape each piece to exacting tolerances. But the true artistry lies in his hands: JX personally hand-finishes every surface, refining chamber walls, smoothing rails and baffles, and polishing the tip until it meets his high standard of playability, precision, projection, and tone. The result is a mouthpiece that offers unmatched durability, precision, and musicality—a piece that transcends factory production and becomes a refinement tool for saxophonists seeking expressive control and clarity. Because each mouthpiece is individually hand-finished, no two are exactly alike—every one is a unique, bespoke creation shaped by JX’s meticulous eye and ear.
